Construction Litigation Attorney

KMDA handles Trust fund, retainage and trapped funds claims, mechanic’s lien foreclosure, removal, and fraudulent lien lawsuits. RCLA and DTPA claims, contract drafting and review, delay and defect claims, to name a few. Attorney will need to have experience in a majority of these areas.

While the Owner is willing to provide case supervision, the applicant should be someone who can work independently with the ability to recognize what needs to be done without total step by step guidance. Note that exceptional writing and proofreading skills are a must. Applicant needs a firm first mentality and to be a team player. We are a small firm with a large workload so every employee’s contribution truly counts. This is a partnership track position.

Currently, we have about 30 hrs. billable a week. Income and pay are highly competitive and will be commensurate on litigation and construction experience and ability to be self-sufficient. Portable business is a plus but not required.
